Here are some sites i like for various reasons. Some are suppliers, some are just lovely.

Garden Furniture and accessories

Gaze Burvill
www.gazeburvill.com
The furniture from Gaze Burvill is in my opinion second to none for comfort, design and craftsmanship. Made from oak or stainless steel these pieces are built to last.

Hen and Hammock
www.henandhammock.co.uk
I particularly like the style of their teak furniture and the fact that it is reclaimed teak makes the funky design particularly kind to the environment.

Plant Stuff
www.plantstuff.com
I particularly like this site for its wide range of garden furniture. An added bonus is that this site supplies braziers to heat up the evenings.

The Urban Garden
www.theurbangarden.co.uk
This is a brilliant site for city gardens and terraces. A one stop shop for furniture and accessories that are that little bit different. The icing on the cake is the wide range of products to get children interested in the garden.

Materials for hard landscaping

Aldershaw tiles
www.aldershawtiles.co.uk
I use this company because they tick all the right boxes. Hand crafted quality products. An impeccable environmental policy and staff that are friendly reliable and only too happy to share their experience.

A J Smith and Son
www.ajsmith.uk.com
These are my local suppliers of quality timber decking. They are well priced and offer a reliable service.

Marshalls
www.marshalls.co.uk
This company supplies ethically sourced landscaping materials and belongs to the ethical trading initiative.

Plants and planting

Crocus
www.crocus.co.uk
I tend to use this site for smaller renovation jobs where there is a need for a quick turn around of plants. The range and quality is really special and many designers use Crocus for their designs at the Chelsea Flower Show.

The worm cast company
www.thewormcastcompany.co.uk
Worm casts are a great, environmentally friendly fertilizer which is used to help condition the soil before planting.

Whichford Pottery
www.whichfordpottery.com
This is an absolutely brilliant collection of terracotta pots that are a real pleasure to plant into.
These pots suit all kinds of garden styles. They are frost proof and hard wearing.
